Our Bars

Real, cask ale is a passion here at The Jenny Lind.

Pride of place is held by our 10 cask hand-pulls with between 5 and 10 different beers on at any given time.

Among these are our 2 regular ales: 'Best' from local brewery Long Man ; and national legend Greene King 'Abbot’. As for the rest, expect an ever-changing range of guest ales, often from Sussex and Kent.

You will always find at least 3 real ciders on offer at all times, as well as craft beers. We also stock some tasty low or no alcohol options if you are the designated driver!

The Front Bar

Offers high tables next to huge windows which are perfect to watch the world go by. It's in the front bar where you'll find most of our live events, with shanty night every Thursday and live acts every Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The cosy back bar

Is a friendly hideaway housing our Bar Billiards table and an open log fire.

The garden

When the weather is warm we have a multi-tiered garden with various areas to enjoy and explore. There is plenty of cover if you want to be outside on a rainy day.

The function room

We also have a large, elegant function room upstairs for private hire, which boasts panoramic views over to the East Hill Country Park.

This room is perfect for a variety of functions which suit many needs, from charitable events and formal meetings, to landmark parties.
