Here at the Jenny Lind we take our Real Ale seriously. It is more than a product, it's a passion, forged from years of rigorous tasting and cellar expertise!

We offer a range of up to five Real Ales at a time, taken from variety of UK breweries exemplifying the brewer's and cellarman's craft.

Beer was brewed by the ancient Egyptians over 4,000 years ago, papyri evidence to support this has been found at Memphis. In the UK, beer brewing arrived with both Roman and Norse invasions, it was adapted to local ingredients and conditions, and perfected into the nectar we drink as 'The British Pint' today. Our British ales are a fantastic blend of the choicest organic ingredients and finest yeasts, offering good health, value for money, and support for British brewers and farmers

Beer is not only historically a fundamental part of the British diet, but a key part of our world, national, and regional culture too. We also know nothing beats a cool, perfectly poured pint of ale. It is the preservation of both these tenets we strive to keep at the Jenny Lind. Be it a bitter and citrus mouthful of a Scottish IPA or a swig of the rich chocolate and fruit notes of a London Christmas Ale it will always slake the thirst perfectly. Our own house selection caters for even the most discerning palette. Our seasonal weekly guest ales add the extra choice and variety that excellent product service demands.
