The Jenny Lind Inn has held it's beer prices this winter with no increases on draught products. In fact since January 2012 our core bitter had actually gone down by 10p per pint to £3.20. And! On the 20th March when the chancellor reduced the duty by 1p we reduced our prices to reflect this immediately. Therefore from the 21st March you could buy a pint of bitter for £3.19, our lowest price since 2008.  Our loyalty card was also received extremely well this second year and we have seen our core customer base growing with 1600 loyalty cards issued this winter.  Seven Double Stamp Days gave it all a bit more fun and both loyalty cards and double stamp days will be back by 1st October this year.

At the heart of the Old Town, the Jenny Lind Inn offers hotel accommodation comprising of three bright & comfortable double rooms, one family room, one twin and one single, all en-suite with digital TV, and free Wifi. We do not use booking agencies for our hotel with their rip off percentages, instead we offer you genuine value for money accommodation with a great breakfast from the local experts, 'The Land of Green Ginger'

Downstairs is a genuine freehouse where there are two friendly bars with regular live music and a changing selection of real ales. The front bar offers great windows to watch the world go by whilst The Old Peculiar Lounge at the back offers a lovely fireside with a bar billiard table. We have a large function room upstairs for private hire and a split level garden offering views of The East Hill and The Old Town.
